MEXICOWANDERER

I opt for the mechanical units where I can slip the cover off an tweak the Delta T to my satisfaction. For heating a 7 degree Delta T (temp drops 7 degrees then heater restarts) seems to like me. For my Fantastic Fan Endless Breeze a mechanical A/C thermostat works great usually shuts down around 75F.
Power outage. Summer. 0230 Power blinks. A/C shuts down. When it comes back I have a 2-minute delay timer connected to a Deltrol relay. Blinkity blink blink blink, the A/C stays off. Mechanical controls means auto re-start after 2 minutes. Saves component parts in the A/C
If those junky OEM thermostats don't come from the same factory, they all come from the same business park boulevard and the factory leaders all take lunch together.I've taken them apart and they are utter garbage. The digital jobs are prone to doing a Lucas Ltd at the drop of a hat as well.
PM me your mail packages to Gordon Three and I'll envelope you a fixed 160F 15-amp cutout rated for 35,000 cycles at 30 amps. Just futz around till you have it located where it accidentally guesses your preferred temp. Made in Germany by my relatives. Deutschland Uber Alles!
