No- those notes are from another thread, though they do apply to removing the thermostat. The plastic cover is removed in this picture- this drawing will kind of show it- it is the cover with the 2 #1 screws in it- - vtchrisExplorerAwesome! - Chris_BryantExplorer IIYour RM2410 does not use a thermister, it uses a dual mode thermostat, single thermostat for both LP and electric. It is one the rear of the refrigerator, with a shaft running from the knob back to the thermostat. It has a small capillary tube which runs in to the cabinet and is attached to the fins under a metal plate.
This part on the back of the refrigerator is under a white plastic cover- the silver block in the center is the thermostat itself. - vtchrisExplorerEven at lowest setting, the fridge temp is 20 degrees. According to the manual, I need a new thermostat, but I don't know where it is located or what it looks like.
- Thermistor is the thermostat.
You can adjust temperature by moving the unit up to cool more down to cool less.
