Thetford Water Saver Hand Spray??

Instead of buying the Thetford sprayer and attaching it as recommended, I put a tee in the supply line below the flush valve. then ran tubing with a valve and then connected a sink sprayer at the valve. When using the Thetford set up you have to flush in order to spray. My set up allows spraying with or without flushing and the valve allows pressure adjustment on the sprayer. When back on city water after using the pump I tended to get blow back in the face.:B

The valve lets me dampen the flow if needed and doubles as a shut off if needed.

Primarily, it's a bowl cleaner.

The 'regular' flush is no where near the same as a residential toilet.

We have a sprayer and use it a lot, helps spray down bowl top to bottom, use it to clean seal/blade valve, spray down throat of toilet drain line, rinse the bowl of cleaner etc.

Very handy.....and it's just a 'kitchen sink' type sprayer so easy, cheap to install (just goes on a small stub area of water valve assembly----drill hole thru stub, secure hose with screw clamp) and there is only water pressure on the hose/sprayer when you operate flush valve.

The sprayer uses less water to get rid of skid marks in the bowl than flushing over and over.

Does the regular flush not work well enough to clean the bowl ?

It is a toilet bowl cleaner and I like it. Don't use it often but it is handy when I do. Well worth it.

It's also cold water only.

A bidet sprayer is usually stationary so you move your parts over it to clean. The water is confined to the bidet/toilet. With the sprayer you must position it to spray where you need the spray butt also make sure the water falls into the toilet...it's awkward.
