Thingamabob disconnected on top of Cummins engine

It's interesting that in the exploded view diagram that solenoid (item #2) kinda shows one of the connector tabs being short or removed, suggesting it isn't used.

Noticed the bent over tab in the drawing. My concern is when you look at the actual device, the contact is clean and appears not to have been exposed to the weather.
