First, You can trade in that six volt battery tender for a 12 volt version
Here is why I say "There are not six volt batteries in RV's."
You go to the store and buy two six volt GC-2 batteries. Yes, they are six volt, but they are NOT in your RV... yet
You put 'em in the RV, like this
-{bat}+-{ery}+12 volt
And now you have a 12 volt battery.... in two parts. And there you are.
230 amp hours, (Slightly more than your two interstates in parallel) True DEEP CYCLE (Means they recover better if you accidentally go far too low) and cheaper.
The 6345 is about the worst RV converter ever made. It is a single stage converter with very poor regulation and has a reputation as a battery killer.. However with a bit of care (and it appears you know how to do it) it's ok. I mean your original batteries lasted 7 years.. With a good converter they might have gone 8-10. But 7 is not bad.. Mine are 8, Progressive Dynamics 9180 WITH optional wizard.
