Toilet Connection repair

Here is a picture of the connection that broke, it has two hose that connects to it, than it connects to the toilet, but at the toilet connection a clip that locks it in place broke. Left middle shows the hole. Any thoughts what piece I need?

I guess I could goto camping world to find part. Doesn't look hard to fix. Thoughts.

thanks,
Dean
  • They're designed to break so you have to buy another one soon again. Cheap plastic junk. Do yourself a favor if you can and put a valve on that line so if it does start leaking again you don't have to turn all your water off and on constantly.
  • On the current Dometics, you don't have to remove the toilet. That valve is a cartridge that inserts there. There are youtube videos showing it.
  • It's an easy fix. Instructions that come with the valve are pretty thorough. Have to remove the toilet tho (been a while, but pretty sure) so while you are at it, replace the seal.
  • Looks like a Dometic toilet, you need a Dometic water valve kit which is available from most RV stores for around $40. Here is a link to one at Camping World: Dometic Water Valve Kit

When you get the kit there will be two screws in it, usually you can use these two screws to fasten the existing valve to the toilet (the holes are already in the valve housing and the valves have holes in them for the screws).
