I just replaced my Style II with a new unit yesterday. I have fought that pedal in years past and it is a you know what to get back on and I really don't remember how I did it. The reason for my entire replacement was the mechanism that opened the ball valve broke and the rest of it was old after years of full time use. The new unit's mechanism works amazingly smooth compared to the old one.
