Toilet Odors

We had a SeaLand toilet that was putting up quite a stink, if you know what I mean. My wife put everything she had heard of including Tang to cover up the odor, but nothing worked for any period of time.

Then I accidentally read in the manual that the two overflow holes have a trap in them that can dry out. Voila, works fine now. Thought I would pass that along for fellow travelers who hate to read manuals.
