I do alot of boondocking and dont like to run gen set unless i have to. Any one else rep a lace convection oven with conventional one? Problems? easy swap? 2013 Rubicon 2100. Also would love to make this a 4 season unit.. anyone else manage that?? thanks!

I don't blame you for wanting an actual propane oven....what else works as well if off grid?Total side note: What is UP with all the electric appliances in trailers these days, anyway? It's like they think nobody ever strays from 50 amp hookups...

Do you have a LP stove top?My large Avion trailer has the convection oven and the 1969 Avion camper has the LP stove and oven combo. I like the LP oven since I like to camp off of the grid. Actually, I like cooking outside with a large Camp Chef stove even more than cooking inside. The inside oven is nice for cooking when the weather is bad outside.

Poor pic from Thor's webpages, but is this your kitchen? And is that Convection Oven part of the Stove/Oven combo (miniature version of a home stove) pictured there?If so, shouldn't be too hard to replace one kind with the other.But the RV's I've seen with no gas oven had only a gas cooktop and the "oven space" below was a cabinet. We rented a Class C with a convection oven, but it was a Microwave/Convection OVERHEAD unit.Bigger project if space/dimensions aren't right, or there's no Gas Line where you want the Oven.
