I believe the higher CCA cycleable thin plate pure lead AGMS of Northstar and Odyssey stand the best chance of maintaining high enough voltage as a single battery to support Soundguy's proposed loading/usage
But they should get the high amp recharge too, Perhaps without it they will perform no better than a lesser AGM, and the 7 amp Ctek is by no means going to meet the 40 amp charge rate recommended by Odyssey for their group31.
Thanks for your assessment. :B The more I think about it though, investing ~ $500 Cdn for just one Northstar AGM, then having to throw another several hundred $$$ into another charger suitable for caring for that Northstar would be pretty tough to swallow compared to just getting an East Penn AGM at slightly over cost from a friend, and because I won't be deeply discharging it on any regular basis, just relying on my CTEK which is certainly better than the crappy WFCO in my trailer. If this single AGM won't support the inverter on it's own then so be it - I'll have to load support with my truck which I've already demonstrated does work even with my current flooded G27. It may not be as convenient but for just a few times each season I can live with it. :)
