The real question, getting back to the OP's situation, is how many times can the one AGM take an occasional 60a draw before developing an "internal fault" like full mosey's did. Then know how many times you will do that over the years.
Looks like one AGM in this role would do the OP's toaster and coffee maker 60a jobs occasionally, so he is likely ok ...
I'm increasingly liking this idea and think at this point my plan for next spring is to replace my current flooded G27 Interstate with a single G27 AGM, or a G31 if I can make it fit the battery box in it's current location on the tongue. The Interstate still holds a charge so rather than disposing of it I'll hang on to it and take it along in the truck as backup support. When we lose campground shore power I can disconnect from the AGM with my existing Blue Sea battery switch and plug into the Interstate for the utility purpose of keeping the lights on and the fridge running. If at any time I want to fire up the inverter so we can make coffee or toast I can switch back to the AGM which will still be fresh ... and worst case, if the inverter protests I can still load support with the truck. I too am liking this idea of just one AGM a lot ... K.I.S.S. :B
Your plan is coming together nicely. (Got sidetracked a bit with my AGM stuff, sorry)
My situation is similar, but the big thing is I have an electric only fridge that has to run from the inverter if shore power fails. I can use PT's trick of just having the converter plugged into shore power while the fridge is always on inverter.
That is ok when power fails till the battery runs down. No generator, so the truck 7-pin charging and solar is all we have. Everything in both our scenarios depends on getting shore power back fairly soon. (Of course if the fridge is off for two days, the food won't get too bad and this is only for weekends anyway)
For deliberate longer times off-grid, I have to set the camper up with more batteries etc, so the single AGM "issue" won't apply.
Now all we need is for Mex to answer those AGM questions in the other thread so we can tidy up our single AGM set-ups accordingly.
