Trogan batteries $89

I was at a flea market in Stuart Fla. today and there was a golf vendor there that had Trogan 605 GC batteries for sale for $89, Crown batteries 232 amp hrs for $74, and another brand that I never heard of with Sonic in it name for $64. The 605 were 210 amp hr which looked to be the same size as the 105's that I first had but the 105 had about 15 more amp hrs if I remember correctly. Has anyone used the 605's and is this a good price for them?

  • I think we all know that "Trogan" was a typo
Poster came back and said Trojan in follow up post
  • Trogan is a knockoff. I used Trojan T605s for years. Good choice.
  • Quite interesting. Trojan new battery price by the pallet is 88.36 dollars - master distributor who spends 100k/yr with Trojan.

Oooooo I need a clothespin. Or quart of Jade East cologne.

The COSTCO 6VDC GOLF CART Battery runs about the same price. ALot of users say they get better performance from the TROJAN Brand Batteries compared to the COSTCO brands.

    Speaking of these batteries...

These were brand new maroon Trojan batteries I posted because I thought it was a good price for those that need batteries.
  • It was BT-105

    Trojan Response:

Trojan makes a "Black Box" 6V golf cart battery which is rated at 210Ah. This battery is non-maroon and is made for Trojan partners based on their specifications for their private label brands. These batteries are made in the same facility, on the same production line as the maroon battery. The maroon T-105 will have a rating of 225Ah and not 210Ah. This battery will be similar to the T-605 which has a 210Ah rating. The manufacturing quality is the same, but performance will be below the T-105. End Quote

  • Maybe "Trogan" instead of "Trojan" was your tipoff. Are you sure they are not "knockoffs"?
  • We just had a thread about some sort of re-branded Trojans with those specs. Can't remember what they were called - B something?
