thank you. Yes I will isolate better next time. And next time i am on the roof, I will get some pics. Yes, I have z brackets. Big, big, mistake. Ya, in order to get into the mc4 connectors, I had to remove 1 corner of the panel to even get to the connector. It was a nightmare. I ended up drilling into the side of the frame, putting in a wrench and going at it that way. My z bracket on the outter portion was covered with dicor roof caulking. Lesson learned.
The panels are from renogy, 100w. 2 of them connected into a mc4 y-connector, so in parallel.
