You might aw well give it a try, then write back. I probably have to replace my $350 Amprobe AC/DC clamp on meter. In the DC mode, mine will not re-set to zero amps anymore. So it reads about 63.4 amps when I turn it on, and say I am using 2 amps, it will either read 61.4 or 65.4, depending on what direction the amperage is flowing. . .
