Unsafe outlet?
I have a small Klein Tool Tester that is showing "Hot/Neu. Reverse" when plugged into a nearby outlet. Would this outlet be safe to use for a couple of hours? Thanks in advance for any input....RT 210

A newer device that use an unpolarized TWO prong plug and has no metal body parts should be plugged into that receptacle. Period.
Yes I am sensitive about this....both literally and figuratively. Think of it this way - if polarity was of bo importance testers would not sell by the millions. Have that outlet corrected before someone finally ends yp in the hospital or worse. Thank you.
