if Duracell could be marketed as Tools, Seasoning, or Starting Fluid they'd exploit it. As far as I know, Duracell alkaline is/was the original trademark of throwaway batteries. Whether or not the batteries are good or not isn't the point here. Duracell battery chargers are trademarked chew & spit garbage.
Remember, KALIFORNIASTAN sets the standard and the standard obviously is to not emit a wink of CO2 even though the manufacture and use of the charger causes a thousand times more CO2 than the use ever could.
