Using camper generator to power items in house
With all of the storms and flooding that is happening, is there a simple way to use the generator in my toy hauler (Onan 5500) to power certain items in my house if electricity goes off.

Keep exhaust away from the house but otherwise individual appliances are easy with extension cords.
If you do a whole house connection, a lot depends on the size of the generator and the loads. Probably won't handle your average household heat pump system.
