Using camper generator to power items in house
With all of the storms and flooding that is happening, is there a simple way to use the generator in my toy hauler (Onan 5500) to power certain items in my house if electricity goes off.

What he is cautioning you about (despite most other commenters...) is that if you backfeed to your house without proper, code legal safeguards (meaning an approved Main service panel disconnect), you are creating both a shock hazard for utility workers and a possible fire-arc hazard once the utility power is restored...
