Don't take AC down. Move it around on the roof.
There are good links with pictures by members in DIY section of the forum, I think one is by the forum Moderator. Check them.
I would trust those posts by members more than marketing materials by Dicor. Sales pitch is a sales pitch, aimed to sell it, not necessarily to tell the whole truth so that you'll have no problems with project. The only product by Dicor that I used, lap sealant - very popular here - was a lot of pain compared to similar sealant by Geocel. They don't tell you that sealant cures VERY slow, days - not hours, and in the process it makes a lot of bubbles, most of them shrink later - because this sealant shrinks A LOT, so you need to apply it very generously. You won't need their sealant for applying EPDM membrane to plywood roof, except around vents and the like.
So, YOU have replaced a EPDM roof? I doubt it from your post. I HAVE. At least 75 over the years. Your post makes NO sense at all. Dicor has no skin by posting the CORRECT procedure. Moving the AC around the roof when replacing EPDM. What a crazy thing to say from someone that has never replaced a EPDM roof. You REMOVE all appliances from the roof as it makes it so easy when you roll out the new EPDM and glue it down. Also, it is BEST to deck the original wood as the old wood and glue will NOT react well with the new glue. Doug
