So after much back and forth thinking and tons of reading and research, I bought a Yamaha 2400ishc generator from Amazon. Sold by ACME tool through Amazon. Expected delivery is this Thursday or Friday...

They are good generators, but with a 13500 BTU AC or a 15000 BTU AC, they may have issues, especially trying to start them. Make sure the econ switch is off, because the generator may not be able to spin up to "catch" the load when the compressor comes on.
I like my 3000 watt Yammy, but I do regret not getting the battery "boost" model with the 500 extra watts for eight seconds.
