I have a 2007 Yamaha 2400is jenny that has provided exceptional service. In 2009 it ran nonstop except for refueling for 5 days during a power outage resulting from severe straight line winds bringing down power lines. It kept my refrig and freezer running without any food spoilage.
I have purchased the different sized carb jets to use when running it at various altitudes. I found out the hard way that extended running at 8500 ft in Rocky Mt NP on the sea level (standard) jet will carbon up the exhaust big time!
It runs my 13.5K AC as long as I don't use the microwave, etc. at the same time. Nothing like boondocking and the DW can blow dry her hair while I brew a fresh pot of coffee, recharge the batteries, etc.
