Washer dryer como or stacked

Just got a new Splendide 2100 XC and loved it after our first trip out. No, it won't hold as much, but it worked great! You cannot overfill it or things do come out wrinkled. The absolutely BEST thing about it is that since it washes and then dries, you can set it and leave and your clothes are washed and dried without having to transfer to another machine and wait again! Clothes were very clean and it was quiet!

Having a Splendide I would go for the stacked units. You loose storage for towels etc but the outfit will handle more clothes and faster and won't shake the coach apart.... maybe.

Another one in favor of stacked units. If you have the space, you'll spend a lot less time doing laundry and it'll come out of the dryer much less wrinkled.

You can minimize wrinkles with the combo unit, but that requires a much smaller load and some folding PRIOR to drying! Yes, that really does work.

I have combo would prefer stacked. Less time, can wash and dry at same time so done faster. Combo wrinkles and load size is extremely small. Have to use fabric softener to help with wrinkles. Can't use dryer sheets.

Had Splendide before, got Whirlpool side by side in this RV. Twice as fast as before and quieter.

Think the stacked units are better. Faster. More efficient. Wouldn't go back to single unit. Abut $2800 installed. Well worth it.

Combo takes a LONNNNNNNNG time.

The stacked units I've looked at (Whirlpool WFC75600VW washer & GE Spacemaker DSKS333ECWW) have larger capacity than my combo and appear to be more efficient.

That said, the washer is only 2 cf and the dryer is 3.6 cf.

Splendide combos are the best less space and are just more modern.
I have a Splendide 2100XC washer dryer combo works great.

We also have the splendid XC combo, excellent unit.. I would suggest you get a vented model. Un-vented ones tend to add alot of moisture to your RV. The stacked models are very useful if you have many people. I find space to be too valuable for stackables.
