Water heater odor
DW says that the hot water smells. Plan is to drain it and introduce vinegar by "winterizing" but not bypassing the WH. Q. Good plan? Q. How much vinegar before filling ten gallon tank with water?...

My wife uses vinegar in the house for disinfecting but I've not heard of it being used for disinfecting an RV water system (typically bleach is mentioned). That said I'm not sure if there would be any negative consequences with using vinegar in an RV water system (hot water tank, water pump, etc.).
