Water heater odor
DW says that the hot water smells. Plan is to drain it and introduce vinegar by "winterizing" but not bypassing the WH. Q. Good plan? Q. How much vinegar before filling ten gallon tank with water?...

I am only experienced with Atwood water heater and I would use bleach .. but when in doubt use one and then the other ... they are both inexpensive so your haven't much too loose. If you have suburban water heater then you might also consider replacing the anode.
