No, but just from reading the use instructions, it appears to be similar to the Zep flooring product sold at Lowes for a fraction of the cost. The Zep coating (can't remember the name) may be on sale right now for $3.95/Gal.

Would you use it on a Gel Coated RV sides?
No, if I had to apply a polish on gel coat, I'd use a marine product, probably something from 3M.

I did discover a new wax product, recently, and my initial uses of it are proving fairly worthy. It is called Parfe, a highly concentrated liquid wax that is diluted with water. I like it for the ease of application but the jury is still out on durability. I plan to use it on my TT, this year so will see how it holds up.
  • I've read about it in boating forums. Some users really like it. I read a disadvantage is that you have to do a good job of prep and it must be maintained (annually?). It has UV protection... not the same as floor finishing product.

  • I have not used this, but I have been around rigs that have. It is similar to the RedMax/Zep stuff, though it supposedly has UV protection in it. I don't find the cost to be outrageous, given what you get. It does last years and gives a great shine, and it is nothing at all like the "sealer" that new car dealers sell.
  • I believe this is a product some Car Dealers promoted on new cars at a high price. I believe there are other products/waxes you can use for less money and equal or better results at less costs. Do a Search on Waxing, polishers, etc. as there have been many posts.
  • That is similar to Zep and Red Max Pro, which many of us have used and been very happy with. Follow this link for numerous threads and posts on the topic.
