Jerry, dougrainer is right on as to how to check. When I was talking to the awning tech I ask him if the wire size could be too small to carry the load. He said he knew for a fact that Newmar put a large enough wire and if it was a wiring problem it would have to be a splice or connection in the system from the controller to the motor. The dealer tech said there was only one splice and that was in a box in the wall behind the passenger seat. He checked it and found a bad splice. Put a new splice in and no more problem. This was all after Newmar told me the problem was and sold me a whole new controller and motor. They did refund my money.
