I'm not sure what the OP is asking. You've heard the old saying that if it smells/tastes/acts/looks like whatever-it probably is. If he/she wants to know if that gunk looks disgusting and potentially dangerous-I don't think anyone would argue that. Notifying the water authorities of every CG that the OP has been to, should prove to be frustrating at best. The obvious answer is, if you have seen bad water at various CGs, carry your own.
