Hi,Please reply with what your solar system can do to enhance your RV'ing experience.Please list the number of watts, Charge controller, inverter (if any) and amp-hours of battery bank256 watts Unisolar in a parallel/series configuration input to charge controller 33 volts.Blue Sky 3024 di2500 watt Cobra MSW inverter875 amp-hours of battery bank.Allows me to operate the RV as if it were connected to shore power. The only high wattage item I do not run is the air conditioner.

210 Watt Solar with 12v panels rated at 17.4 volts MaxPower point, 232 AH twin 6v battery bank, Morningstar ProStar 15Amp controller and 300W GoPower PSW inverter. Used for weekend boondocking college footable tailgating and the occasional spur of the moment festival or other weekend activity. FW spends the majority of it's time as a mobile hotel room and support vehicle for horse shows with full hookups (approximately 60 nights a year doing horseshows)

No disrespect... But, as a measure of levity, I have a Dollar Store gallon size plastic picture and 4 family size tea bags. Makes wonderful ice tea in a few hours of sunshine. Saves on propane which I use to run my generator.:B

Hi Eycom,That's a good use of solar! It also shows you think "outside the box".

128w Unisolar, 10 amp LandStar, 184Ah AGM. 700w+400w+150w of inverter.Intentionally avoiding a genset means the Unisolars are the primary power source for the RV except when camping in a campground for us.Once I get a larger inverter it will allow me to run all my loads except the AC on the duty cycle of my typical usage (which is very light).Once I get a controller that allows diversion loads, I will set up excess power (which there is most days in storage) to run a thermostatically controlled oil filled heater and thermostatically controlled fantastic fan to keep the RV at more moderate temps than the outside weather every day, so it is always ready for a visit.I have alternatively considered running a daytime personal ham radio repeater on diversion load power.In case of emergency the system provides indefinite power to run the fridge controller board as long as propane holds out (60 days unattended).Jim
