- LouLawrenceExplorerDicor and silicone are incompatible. They will not stick to each other. Unless you have completely removed any trace of the previous caulk (which was likely Dicor) you want to make sure you are using the right caulk.

That is what I use as well. A silicone caulk with adhesive qualities helps keep the boot in place. - 23hotrodrExplorerI use RTV Silicone. - TurnThePageExplorerI dug around in the garage and found a couple tubes of Dicor. One self leveling and one not. The one that's NOT self leveling actually lists TV antenna as a recommended use. That's the one I'll be using.
