I'm looking at installing a hook up in my garage for my 5er. What gauge wire and circuit breaker should I use? The run from the outlet to the breaker box is around 60 feet. I plan on using a 50 amp...

Exactly. The cost, amortized over time, especially, is minimal. Any run over 100' would be #4 or larger, IMO. It might be cheaper to run #2 service wire. I haven't pinched those types of pennies for awhile.
