I replaced the black tank in my old Citation rebuild project.
I got under there, measured how big a tank I could put in there, made a drawing of it with the pertinent measurements on it and took it to my local RV parts store, at the dealership I frequent when I need stuff.
They had a catalog of generic tanks and their dimensions so I picked one that would fit.
I did have to provide them with the exact locations of the toilet hole and the vent pipe hole. And of course the drain location.
The new tank came with the proper fittings welded to the tank so all I had to do was install it, then put the toilet flange and vent pipe into it.
It fit perfect, but supplying them with the proper locations of the fittings is crucial.
Hope your tank was empty when you lost it!
I had mine fall out on my last TT. The ONLY thing that stopped it from hitting the highway was the flange got hung up on a stabilizer jack but about 1/2 an inch!! Should have seen my face when I stuck my head under and saw that one!
