all the detectors and the fridge controls are 12v they draw all the time. But those batt should take it. I would seperate them & load test them. age isn't relative. I have had newer ones fail. My friend had this issue a while back. I load tested them seperatly and 1 was bad. A bad one will beat up on the other.
