What to do with Generac having bad board?

My point is that even I spend $350 on new board, Generac tend to break very often, while $500 can buy me generator with 2 years warranty.
I had 2 of those Generac and both blew the board.
There is no way I can test the board alone, but one board would not activate the starter. I could bypass that with a jumper. (there is video on youtube where one owner extended the jumper to additional switch inside and reported that 2 year later it still works).
2nd board would not give power to ignition coil. Did not try to jump that.
But bottom line, 2 board failed on 2 generators is not making me to buy 3rd one for full price.
