What wattage exterior bulb on 2006 Rockwood 8315SS TT
Hello,
I need to replace the bulbs on my sidelights on my 2006 Forest River Rockwood 8315SS travel trailer. These are the running lights on the top and bottom corners white or yellow in front in red on the rear.
I pulled one of the bulbs out, and I can't see any writing on them, so I don't know what wattage to replace them with.
I was at Walmart the other day and their choices were:
Sylvania # 161 - 2.7 W,
# 194 - 3.8 W,
and # 168 - 4.9 W.
I'm going away this Saturday, which is two days away, and I would like to replace them before then. So if anyone can help me I would appreciate
So, is it safe to use a higher wattage if the bulbs were a lower wattage? We're only talking a couple W difference between the high and low choices, so would I it really be taking a chance and melting the wiring if I used to higher wattage?
so anyone that has advice I would appreciate it, thanks.
