Where did you find the exclusions? I read their warranty and didn't see any exclusions regarding professional installation. Only that it be "Properly installed" and that they "recommend professional installation". Nothing says they require it.Manual and Warranty
They also dont say anything other than "acts of god". Nothing about "lightning damage, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes".
