Exactly.
Not that it will make one whit of difference but I emailed Progressive via their contact page suggesting they read this thread. In this internet world we all now live in word spreads like wildfire - in this case NOT GOOD.
If I had to guess it would be that Tommy Fanelli was not just the former president of Progressive but also it's owner and if so he saw an opportunity to get out with his millions. New owners have taken over and are changing the name of the game, as is their right. Problem is, until now almost everyone would tout how great Progressive's "lifetime" warranty is. Seems that's no longer the case so I for one, 'though I still believe in the product, see no reason now to recommend a Progressive EMS over it's competitor TRC (Technology Research) which says clearly that their warranty is just one year. "Lifetime" sounds good but not so much when it's now so easy for Progressive to exclude any claim. As a Progressive owner myself I'm not impressed. :(
