When I disconnected the unit all 6 connections were tight...no loose connections.
After their denial, I was in contact with em by email asking them if there was an address that I might ship the unit to for them to look at it so their techs could make a determination of what might have happened. Their reply was..."No need to ship it back to us as we no longer do repairs here. If you’d like to purchase the new EMS-HW50 (wrong), just let us know". I told em I didn't think it could be repaired and to just check it to perhaps find the cause. I sent em 2 more emails and got the same reply both times..."We no longer repair EMS unit". So evidently that's their standard reply now.
So I'll give it some serious thought what my next move will be. Purchase another EMS-HW30C unit or go with a portable unit.
