That's what I would do. Go to an electrical wholesaler and get a replacement. They don't cost much and certainly far less than a new EMS.
I would buy a new PI unit.
The only thing stressed was the terminal on the contactor and the wire that was attached to it and of course the case.
One thing this thread did do was make me go out and check the connections on mine, they were fine.
