Forgive me if I am not gullible enough to purchase a plastic enclosed POWER HANDLING product and NOT test with the hand if it gets warm to the touch. If product research is performed and warranty issues are non existent I would be tempted to drill 1/16" vent holeS top and bottom.
Of course care must be taken when drilling. Ramming 2" of drill into the hole is quite unattractive.
Drilling just until the drill tip POINT creates a pinpoint hole then enlarging with a new utility blade should not affect anything inside.
Yes it voids the warranty
Yes, increased ventilation may avoid warranty "ITHUES" altogether.
And try not to mount the device in a small enclosed soon-to-be oven.
