when should a powermax pm4b drop into float mode

I agree if the pm4b would hold the 14.6 for one extra hour it would be far better.
And continuing to charge at 13.6 is painfully slow. This is why I do not recommend PM for serious boondockers. Maybe with some solar to finish the last 15/20%.
