well, my heads spinning, and i haven't even had a single beer today! thanks to everyone for their patience and willingness to share.
at this point i think i may just tweak my pm4b to a higher abs voltage... maybe not all the way up to 14.6, but perhaps somewhere in the middle? one thing i never mentioned was i would rather run the eu2000i for longer at a lower throttle, than a shorter period at full bore... noise and vibration are the main factors here. so i will have to study bfl's charts, as well as figure out what kicks the gennie into full throttle, and try to find a happy medium. i also think i may just get a dumb charger for topping off and equalizing.
oh yeah, and then i have to enter into what i'm sure is the perfectly clear, understandable, non-contentious world of solar power... yay! lol.
