To the OP, you can take a set of 6V's down below 50% SOC. That's not a hard wall. There's a member here that does this routinely with his Trojan T105's and I've done it myself a few times on the pig out weekends. Yes there is less life doing it that way but not enough for us RVers to notice IMO. Now if you're a fulltimer that lives off grid like MrWiz, I don't recommend doing that. I also don't recommend doing that until you understand your batteries and what it takes to maintain them.
