So we need our own power generation systems just like the energy companies that bring power to my light switch. So how do we do that? Well I needed to be able to run ac so I went with a Honda 3000 and now a Quick Charge 50 amp. I'm also getting a Mega Watt 40 amp. I have separated the batteries into 2 banks and will fully utilize the honda and as amps drop put it in eco mode. (end quote)
thanks for sharing. yes, i'm gonna have to re-consider the whole two bank thing. it may or may not work better for me? i need to (re-)do a good inventory of my electrical needs and my particular situation, (which changes on weekends) and make a decision... and obviously that will affect my choice in charging strategy. i just didn't realize how big a roll voltage set points played in charge times. i was under the impression the batteries were the major player when it came to charge acceptance... which seemed to be confirmed by the pm4b's lower Vabs set point. it took a while to sink in, but bfl13 finally got thru, lol.
