They gas a little on each charge too. i can smell them but the temp is low. I checked on the last charge and the temp on the battery case went up about 8 degrees to 83

all i know is i went through 1 1/4 u.s. gallons of distilled water in 10 weeks!
i'm seriously considering installing fans in both my battery compartment and charger compartment, and running them during charging. both compartments have large grills going out to the side of the bus, but neither has like a vertical vent pipe that would create a chimney effect.. just couldn't swing it when doing the mini-bus to rv mod. so the heat is likely building up around both.
