Watching a battery monitor too closely will drive you insane, and not too long after it was first addicting and pleasurable.
Now when one has a DC clamp on meter and is climbing around inside an electrical cabinet sniffing charging battery fumes and measuring current, and seeing the hydrometer float in the back of your mind, then you know you have a problem.
The treatment is apparently writing long obtuse and confusing yet informative replies on online forums, but it might not be effective long term. Only time will tell.
