Constant AMPERAGE charge rate.
It starts out at a specific pre-determined rate then holds that amperage from 12.80 all the way to 16.0 volts. The AMPERAGE does not vary. Forget volts. You are striving for a specific predetermined amperage flow.
Until I figured out nichhrome offers the solution I fought this. The light bulb came on, to use a pun.
Equalizing batteries is all about maintaining constant AMPERAGE. Controlled amperage. Specific amperage.
Hope This Helps
thanks mex... sounds a lot like a boost charge. constant amps while volts rise. but how does one achieve such a thing? won't the batts determine amps? and how would a bulb help? is its current draw forcing the amps to not drop?
