I modified the pm today; very easy to do. however the pm4b's 15 minute boost still works...
i set it at 14.8v, hooked it up to one of the 215Ah banks (which were still at 12.83v from yesterday's charge), and it ran for 15 minutes, quickly rising to 14.8v, and held steady. but after 15 minutes it kicked into abs at 13.77v (i think it was?). so i adjusted it up to 14.8v while it was charging in abs, let it run for a couple minutes, and shut 'er down.
i plugged it back in after a few minutes, and it rose quickly to 15.6v. i adjusted it back down to 15.2v while it was charging in boost, and after 15 minutes it dropped down to 14.15v abs.
so the 15 minute timer still does it's thing. and to get a decent abs charge i'll have to do a high voltage boost charge.
...of course, if it continues to not function properly, and only rise to its abs voltage on discharged batteries, it may actually work quite well.
