A battery bank cannot be analyzed as a whole. Each component (battery) has to be qualified (individually) One low gravity cell can drag 12 other cells down a tenth of volt or more, static resting voltage.
You must test potential across each battery and note units with low(er) potential. Run a hydrometer dip on that battery. Identify which cells have low(er) gravity. Concentrate your equalization on that battery. When the specific gravity reaches original density, proceed to the next "most reluctant" battery. When the cell gravity is in agreement as a total, then establish your at rest voltage, after electrolyte temperature has returned to room temperature. But you have got to record individual battery voltages at rest.
Dealing with partial data means 100% error.
