I did not use any PF numbers in my calculations. I saw no need to do so, seeing the 45's are not PFC.
Let's compare to the Peak 40 amper"
40a X 13.9v = 556w / .80eff = 695w / 104.5v = 6.65a ... a reasonable expectation for a non-pfc 40 amper
Looking at the cps 1620:
14v X 20a = 280w / .84%(?) eff. = 333w / 104.5v = < 3.2a
(X2 ... 6.4a)

I will confirm the input draw of the Peak and CPS-1620 tomorrow, but I fully expect to see numbers similar to the above.
