I keep flip flopping on which way to set things up... pros and cons either way... but when it's all said and done, two 30 ampers on two 215 banks is the same as one 60 amper on one 430 bank, correct? (Same charge rate, same charge times, either way).
And I'm trying desperately to make use of the pm-45, but that isn't panning out, it seems. With a split bank, one will usually have less dod, so a 45a and a 30a may suffice, but even that would more than max out my gennie.
I see no other option but to go PFC, and that gets costly... but still considerably cheaper than another genset.
No, I can't see the pd 80 amper working off a 2000i... the specs even say to use a 20a circuit. But then again, it's rated at 1300w (16.25v X 80a). :(
